Celebrate River Eden Day – A Day for Rivers, Nature & Community
Join the community on Saturday 27 September at the Upper Hall, Cupar Corn Exchange for River Eden Day, a free event celebrating the rivers, wildlife and landscapes of Fife on World Rivers Day.
From 10am–5pm, discover how local organisations, conservation groups and volunteers are working to protect and restore the River Eden catchment. Explore informative talks, browse community stalls and learn about river ecology, water quality, riverflies, river trees and invasive species.
River Talks
- 10.30–11am: Water Quality Testing on the Eden Catchment Fife
- 11.30am–12pm: Guardians of Our Rivers – Riverfly on the Eden & Motray
- 12.30–1pm: Invasive Non-Native Species Control in the Eden Catchment
- 1.30–2pm: RESP Riverwoods funded project on the Eden Catchment
- 2.30–3pm: Riverwoods Blueprint Project, Scotland
Film Premiere | 3.30pm–5pm
Be among the first to see Strange Kin: A Parliament of Soils of River Eden, a thought-provoking new film by local artists Becky Little and Tom Morton.
The screening will be followed by a discussion exploring our relationship with soil, water and the powerful connections between art, science and the natural world.
