Welcome to RESP – The River Eden Sustainability Partnership

A community partnership for source-to-sea restoration of the River Eden in Fife

We want to see a restored river corridor, rich in biodiversity, free from invasive non-native species, resilient to climate change and connected to the community for well-being and economic benefit.

We want to improve biodiversity and make the river more resilient to climate change by carrying out habitat improvement projects.
We will also monitor and control invasive plant species like Giant Hogweed which are a threat to people and crowd out native plants.
To do this, we need a team of local volunteers who will support our work.

There are lots of ways to get involved with the RESP project. Volunteer with one of the project groups, come to the steering group or just keep in touch. The project needs a team of local volunteers, up and down the catchment, looking after our river.
